3:06; 2006

Walk in the shoes of virtual beings—what is it like in their world?
Coming Soon: the Owl and the Pelican
Jon Mark Nail
2:00; 2007

This is a trailer for a twenty minute short piece I have done. I wanted to give it a seventies exploitation film feel for the trailer. I examined trailers from films from the early seventies and put my own twist on them. Influences include Martin Scorsese and Stanley Kubrick.
A Dreamer
Clark Blue
5:35; 2006

A young girl, unsatisfied with her own life, fantasizes her ideal one.

Questions
Erika Thomas
2:32; 2006

A film about a man rambling about questions of life, death, and the role society plays in between. The visuals of the film are disturbing images of pain mixed with playful images of toys, dolls, and stuffed toys.

So Like Candy
Julie Johnston
4:52; 2006

This piece is about youthful idealism vs. reality. Also, dealing with expectations handed down from my parents. This piece touches on fears of not fulfilling dreams and fears of actually being successful. Much of it is putting away the fairy tale of it all and dealing with the truth in life.
The Prisoner
Edgar Smith
12:40; 2007

A prisoner is being visciously interrogated by three shadowy individuals. But is he really what he appears to be? Is everything really as it seems? Filmmaker’s warning: Graphic/violent content

The Fountainhead
Edgar Smith
1:00; 2007

When a relationship comes to an end, it's very easy to find oneself wishing that you had never met the other person. But is that fair? Or are the experiences of a relationship sometimes more important than the result?

The Nothing
Lindsey Key
4:48; 2006

A haunting film that asks questions about the spaces in which we live.
Humble
Billy Coffee
1:00; 2007

The film is about humbling yourself before the Lord, and taking up His cross to run this race of ‘this life.”
Alien Planet
Rashaun Ellis
6:00; 2006

Where skin is crust, muscle is mantle, and the soul is a glowing, spinning ball of molten self-esteem.
Overlooked
Jessica Allen
0:00; 2007

A study of light, shape, and movement. An obsessive look at a commonly disregarded space.
Possibilities
Erika Thomas
1:00; 2007

A short piece about someone not showing who they truly are because of the fear of how it might change who they are.

My Life on Beats: Crunk 4 Christ
Billy Coffee
4:30; 2006

This is a film about the lifestyle of “new-age” Christians in a skating rink having a good time with a hip-hop backdrop.

With Texture
Tamara Koeder
3:21; 2006

A film about texture, light, and surface.

Happy Future
Jessica Allen
1:00; 2007

Procrastination is An Obstruction To Construction
Julie Johnston
1:00; 2007

After going through what I consider a form of writer's block over an interesting video project, I realized I was spending more time not doing than doing. I know this is something I struggle with, so I thought I would make a piece on procrastination. I was inspired by a recent movie to do the stop-motion animation with objects.  I consider this a short test of future animated pieces.
Story of a Girl
Jamie Shumaker
3:25; 2007

This film is about a girl who lives in her dream wanting only what she can’t have—the guy of her dreams. It is a fast-paced, accelerating short film.
The Sky is Falling
Nathan Duff
1:00; 2007

Inebriated pontification.
The Very Sad Leaving of Thomas Dutter
Jon Mark Nail
7:30; 2006
This film is a study in extremes. What would push a man to leave his wife? This film also closely examines how an audience will react when they are given a situation where they see the end of a conflict without seeing the beginning of the conflict.
This Never Happened
Hillari Burns
3:18; 2006

This is an abstract film experimenting with sounds, lighting, and texture from an outsider perspective.
OCD
David Barnowski
3:00; 2007

A film that challenges us to think about our own compulsions.
