Babies Got the Blues (USA; 12:00; 2008)
Directors: Rachel Hamilton and Karen Kohlhaas

The Delta Blues Museum’s Arts and Education Program in Clarksdale, MS has an extraordinary teaching method. Instead of a set curriculum, students from elementary school aged children to adults learn the blues by jamming as a band with professional blues artists. The Babies Got the Blues is a portrait of two artist-teachers, Bill “Howl-N-Madd” Perry and Richard “Daddy Rich” Crisman, and several of their students.
